By using the Services, you agree to follow this AUP. If you violate this policy, we may suspend or terminate your access and report unlawful activity to the appropriate authorities.
1. Legal and Fair Use
- Use the Services only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws.
- Do not use qrfrog to create, share, or redirect users to content that is illegal, fraudulent, defamatory, harassing, or discriminatory.
- Respect intellectual property rights. Do not generate QR codes or short links that direct to pirated content, counterfeit goods, or trademark infringement.
2. Prohibited Activities
- Phishing, malware, viruses, ransomware, or any attempt to steal credentials, personal data, or payment information.
- Spam, unsolicited bulk messaging, or deceptive marketing.
- Distribution of CSAM, extremist content, or content that promotes violence or self-harm.
- Impersonation of qrfrog staff, brands, or government entities without authorization.
- Scanning, scraping, brute-forcing, or otherwise tampering with our systems beyond normal use.
- Circumventing rate limits, access controls, or billing checks.
3. QR Codes and Short Links
- You are responsible for the destinations you link to and for keeping dynamic QR destinations accurate.
- Do not use qrfrog short links to cloak malicious, deceptive, or prohibited destinations.
- We may review and suspend links that are reported or detected as harmful.
4. API and Automation
- Use the API within documented rate limits and authentication requirements.
- Do not abuse, exploit, or probe API endpoints for vulnerabilities.
- Do not share API tokens or session credentials with unauthorized parties.
5. Account Responsibility
- Keep your account credentials secure.
- You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account unless you report unauthorized access promptly.
6. Enforcement
We reserve the right to remove content, disable links, suspend accounts, block IP addresses, and cooperate with law enforcement and security researchers without prior notice when necessary to protect users, the Services, or the public. We may update this AUP at any time.
